Are your windows safe for birds?


Myths:

1. It's only high rises.
2. It's not that common.
3. Birds are too smart to fly into windows.
4. There's nothing we can do.


Truths:

1. Lower level windows are the most deadly.
2. A billion birds die flying into glass every year.
3. Birds can't outsmart glass.
4. You can prevent collisions at home, work or school today.


How to save birds:

1. Use paint pens or chalk markers.
2. Mark the outside of the glass with dots, hearts or stars.
3. Keep your marks spaced a few inches apart.
4. Cover the window (or as much as you can).
